Big Boy Marjan has this evening finished the Term 1 school vacation as the winner of our basketball matchup series ending the last day with a decisive win against Ol’ Man me before final KCSE school year resumes tomorrow for Term 2 insha’Allah. He proudly reminded me that this is the first full vacation series that he has ever won 😃🏀☺️ Masha’Allah 🤲🏾

It’s a Derby Day for our beloved Darajani Gogo Football Club on Match Day 29 in the National Super League (NSL) as our lads from Darajani in Kibra play for bragging rights against our Bombolulu-based senior brothers and league veterans Kibera Black Stars with whom we had a draw in the first leg of the season. The match is coming up at 15h00 EAT at Hope Center Kawangware as we don’t have any venue in Kibra that can host an NSL match 😢 Hoping to maintain our unbeaten head-to-head league record in the NSL against our senior brothers who we beat home and away last season. A win today will give DGFC a shot at a decent finish this season insha’Allah as we all strive to grow football in Kibra slums at the national level while praying for our other teams from Kibra in the 3rd tier to also keep up a good run.#WeAreDGFC #PlayingForChange

I had the unique privilege and pleasure of being introduced and signed up at NCBA Bank late this evening for my personal and business banking by the super smooth and amazingly effective Ms Amisa Koor who is the new Senior Business Development Manager at NCBA Bank, where she arranged a lovely reception for me and my able Mrs by the NCBA Karen Office Park branch team including the highly efficient Shanice Mbote and the erudite Richard Mokaya working Premier Banking.𝐀𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐚 𝐊𝐨𝐨𝐫 recently joined NCBA Bank after a 2-year hiatus from the banking scene having taken a family-break from 2022 until earlier this year when she was called up to NCBA Bank for the her new overarching role to engage key clients that I learnt of today. Previously she served as Relationship Manager for Priority Banking at Standard Chartered.It was eye-opening to learn about the fantastic propositions, customized solutions (including adaptive considerations for requirements based on Islamic banking principles) and various other attractive benefits that Premier Banking at NCBA offers for banking and financial services distinguishing NCBA among the tier 1 banks in the country.
